Email marketing is worth whatever trouble it may seem to offer, and it is common for marketers to experience a learning curve so they can get things right. We do not want to sound like we are preaching, but you will have much better long term results if you kept things straight and level – good ethics. If you are new to all this, then the most important activity you can engage in is building a strong foundation with your list. Naturally you do not want to frustrate and annoy people because they are not sure of what you are trying to say. If writing is not your strong point, then find somebody to give your emails a quick read for clarity, etc. Communications that are never muddy or unclear is the way to go and people will appreciate it. As we all know, there are times when confusion caused problems that really did not need to happen. If you are experiencing poor results with email marketing, then you have to look at everything and consider all the possibilities.
